In this post, we continue sharing the results from a recent survey on the Impact of COVID-19 and Remote Work on Early-Career Computing Professionals. Our survey included a question concerning effective strategies respondents had employed to reduce the negative impact of remote work on their own productivity. Of the 253 participants in the study, (61.6%, N=156) responded to this question.

Through the survey of 253 remotely-working early-career computing professionals, we received feedback from the participants on how their privacy is affected during the pandemic.

We asked the survey respondents to give their ideas on policy changes that governments and agencies could implement to improve remote work conditions during the public health crisis and beyond. 43.5% (110) of the 253 survey participants responded to this question, suggesting funding initiatives, new regulations, and improvements to government communications.
